A Life in Harmony
Polina Kachournikova’s musical story began when she was just four years old. From the very first time she sat at the piano, it was clear that music would be a huge part of her life.
A Young Provincial Star
By the time she was eight, Polina was already making a name for herself. For two years in a row, she stood out as a Provincial Finalist in the Canadian Music Competition.
She spent her childhood sharing her music at festivals across Ontario, including:
The Peel Music Festival
The Rotary Burlington Music Festival
The Kiwanis Music Festival
The CCC Music Festival
In all of these competitions, Polina was a consistent winner, taking home many first-place awards and scholarships across a wide variety of musical styles.
Reaching the Highest Levels
Polina has always been a dedicated student. In 2014, she was chosen to represent her community at the Ontario Music Festival’s Provincial level, where she performed beautifully and walked away with a prestigious award.
She moved through the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) curriculum with incredible speed and skill:
By age 16: She had already completed her ARCT, finishing every practical and theoretical level.
In 2020: She achieved the Licentiate Diploma (LRCM). This is the highest level of achievement at the Royal Conservatory, representing true mastery of the piano.
Success Beyond the Piano
Polina’s discipline at the keyboard helped her excel in her academics as well. She is a proud graduate of the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, one of the most respected business programs in the country.
Today, Polina’s journey from a four-year-old beginner to a world-class diploma holder and university graduate serves as an inspiration. Whether she is in a boardroom or at the piano, her high standards and passion shine through everything she does.
