At CAMA, we use the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) Certificate Program as a benchmark for excellence.
The RCM grading system is designed to identify and reward musical skills. When your child earns their certificate, they are gaining a credential recognized by universities globally.
The CAMA Distinction: Remarkably, 99% of our students achieve a standing of First Class Honors or higher. This means your child isn’t just learning to play—they are mastering their instrument with a level of polish and expression that places them in the top tier nationwide.

Ontario Festivals
Every year, our students participate in a variety of regional festivals & competitions designed to build early confidence. This ensures our students have a consistent rhythm of performance.
CAMA students consistently sweep the Top 3 places across multiple categories. By competing frequently, your child builds their stage presence and receive feedback from adjudicators.
Canadian Music Competition
Every year, CAMA students represent our academy at the Canadian Music Competition (CMC). This is nation’s most prestigious platform for young classical artists.
The road to the National Final is incredibly selective: in Ontario alone, over 180 highly qualified students compete for a spot. There are only 30 finalists from across the entire country are chosen to move forward.
Despite these rigorous standards, CAMA students consistently secure Top 3 placements in this elite arena. By participating yearly in these high-stakes events, your child gains the discipline, focus, and artistic maturity.
International Stages

From multiple 1st place awards across North York, Hamilton, Unionville, Peel, Crescendo, Elevato Stanza, Rocky Mountain, and the Ontario Provincial Music Festival to the legendary stage of Carnegie hall. And she is only 8 Years old.

At CAMA, we are so proud to help our students reach the Elite Member tier of the Young Steinway Club—the program’s highest level of recognition.
This exclusive tier is designed for dedicated young performers. It offers them first priority for concert registrations and the prestigious opportunity to be featured as guest artists. Through CAMA’s teachings, your child will be fully prepared to meet the Elite requirements.

Christopher's Journey
In 2020, Christopher was just four years old with a tiny hand on the keys and a spark of curiosity in his eyes. He started exactly where your child is today—learning his first rhythms and discovering the joy of the keys.
Through small, steady steps, his curiosity grew into something brilliant. Christopher is now the 2025 Steinway Piano Competition Overall Winner. He has also earned multiple Gold medals and scholarships at the North York, Kiwanis, and Unionville Music Festivals.
His journey shows what is possible with the right start. Every great artist was once a beginner. Your child has their own unique song to play, and we are here to help them find it.
